Opening Range Strategy

External appearance

Before you consider all changeable options, we refer to that which is directly on the chart. And there we see a few lines and some of the data:

• Take-profit short position


• Take-profit long position


• Stop-loss is a short position


• Stop-loss is a long position


• Opening times (always check time option)


• High and Low Prices at opening (Always check the price range)

Options and features

• UseAverageFilter = moving average filter


• MovingAverageFirst = periods of the first moving average


• MovingAverageSecond = periods second moving average


• MovingAverageTimeFrame = timeframe moving averages (5 = M5, 30 = M30, 60 = H1, 240 = H4, etc.)


• AllowChangingTradeDirection = change in the direction of the transaction (True= On. ->The system will enter the market in the opposite direction after actuation TA or CA (only when certain requirements (signal)). False= Off. -> System not will open new positions after tripping TP or SL)


• UseMoneyManagement = automatic calculation of position


• MaxRiskInPercent = maximum risk per trade in%


• RangeFromHour = initial hour OR


• RangeFromMinute = initial minute OR


• RangeToHour = final hour OR


• RangeToMinute = final minute OR


• EntryOnlyOnBreakoutClose = True = the system will open a position at the close above / below OR


• Lotsi = position size (value operated at a false UseMoneyManagement function)


• TakeProfit = Take Profit


• RangeWidthSL = True = stop loss over / under OR


• FixedStopLoss = fixed stop loss (only at the value false RangeWidthSL function)


• UseTrailSL = automatic change of the stop-loss


• TrailSL = a number of pips will be added to or FixedStopLoss RangeWidthSL (only when the function UseTrailSL)
