Russian President ordered the creation of the strategy of development of the automotive industry until 2025

The Russian government has received an order from the country's President Vladimir Putin on the establishment and approval of the development strategy of the automotive industry until 2025. This was before it became known from the press service of the Kremlin posts.

Key directions of the plan should be "to ensure import substitution products and technologies." The president also instructed to submit proposals for state support of automobile production, depending on the level of localization of their products. In addition, the Cabinet should consider proposals for the establishment of the legal and regulatory framework governing the fleet renewal.

This order must be executed before March 1 of the current year.
