MultiCrossAlert

MultiCrossAlert

MultiCrossAlert - a universal solution for alerts, at the time when one line of the indicator or oscillator crosses the other up or down. MultiCrossAlert can monitor up to three intersections that can be useful for traders working with indicators such as moving averages, Alligator Bill Williams, Ishimoku and others.

MultiCrossAlert uses the MetaTrader system alerts, and can send you a notification via a terminal or via e-mail with each setting (the "Service" / "Settings" / tab "Mail" and "alert").

MultiCrossAlert can send notifications when operating the following indicators:

  • The moving averages (simple, exponential, weighted and smoothed)

  • Ishimoku line (Ichimoku Lines)

  • Alligator Bill Williams (Alligator by Bill Williams)

MultiCrossAlert can monitor up to three indicators each having its own zone in the properties window. There you can select one of the following indicators for comparison:

  • None (No) - set if you do not want to compare the indicator.

  • Moving Average (MA) - you will need to set two parameters for the periods and to shift to the right. In addition, the averaging method and type of prices used.

  • Ichimoku (Ichimoku) - you will need to set two parameters: the first - for Tenkansen periods, and the second - for Kijunsen periods.

  • Alligator (Alligator) - you will need to install parmetry for the line that you want to evaluate. The first parameter for periods a second - for shear. Also, you will need to install anti-aliasing ( "smooth") for the averaging method and the average value ( "Median") for a price type. This must be done for all the Alligator lines (the original configuration of the Bill Williams - 13.8 for the jaws, teeth, and 8.5 to 5.3 for the lips).

  • Custom - It is used to compare the lines of any other indicator. When selecting Custom is the only parameter that allows MultiCrossAlert in the indicator zone, - Line.

For all three available to compare indicators of lines you can select the line formed by the indicator itself. It is denoted by a number from 0 to 7. If your indicator 1 forms a line (like a moving average), select 0. For indicators, forming a line in conjunction with a moving average to smooth (MACD, Stochastic), 1 will almost always be the moving average line. In the case of Alligator which forms 3 lines, 0 is used for jaws 1 - 2 for the teeth and - Lip.

When you select Custom, you can receive alerts for all other indicators or oscillators. If you select Custom, you must fill in the appropriate fields in the "Custom Indicators" area.

Enter the display name in the "If Custom Selected: Path \\ Indicator". Necessary parameters are entered in the field "If Custom Selected: Parameters Separated by comma", separated by commas.

All the necessary parameters of the indicator must be entered in the specified field. Example: if you want to receive alerts when MACD crosses its moving average oscillator, select Custom for the first and second indicators, and then do the same in Path \\ Indicator Name first and second indicators: MACD and options: 12,26,9,0, wherein 12,26,9 - MACD standard parameters (fast EMA, slow EMA and smoothing MA), and 0 for Close (closing price) as the type of rates (applied price).

Finally, you must set Index Line for the 1st indicator on 0 and Index Line for 2nd indicator - on 1, to receive alerts when the MACD persekaet its moving average.

You can install up to 4 parameters (usually 3 - for the indicator / oscillator, and the last - for the type of price). Then you can use the alerts for indicators as follows (name and approximate values):

  • MACD 12,26,9,0

  • Stochastic 5,3,3,0

You can receive alerts from any other custom indicator when it displays its results in the buffer.

Below are tips from the values of the parameters:

Use the following list to determine the most appropriate value for the type of price:

  • 0: Close Price (Closing price)

  • 1: High Price (maximum price)

  • 2: Low Price (Minimum price)

  • 3: Open Price (Opening price)

  • 4: Median (H + L / 2) (Medium)

  • 5: Typical Price (H + L + C / 3) (Typical value)

  • 6: Weighted (O + H + L + C / 4) (Weighted)

If the oscillator can select the averaging method for its moving average, use the following list:

  • 0 Simple (Prime)

  • 1 Exponential (Exponential)

  • 2 Smoothed (Smoothed)

  • 3 LinearWeighted (Weighted)

If you are not sure whether you have correctly called user (external) light, turn on the "Terminal" (Ctrl + T) and then click the "experts." If an error warning appears "Can not open file ..." ( "Unable to open file ...").

If everything is in order and setting "Show Comments?" Cross Alert Indicator set to true, you will see the value of the indicator for the latter at the moment and will be able to complete the bar to check whether it is caused by the value of the same indicator.
